Traditional train station 🚉

The station got reconstructed recently, and the railway line to Prague is also being upgraded gradually - there are now direct trains to Prague taking only two hours and 44 minutes. It costs about the same as bus but is way more comfortable and offers beautiful scenery along the way, instead of highway. Tickets can be bought online on Czech Railways website or directly at the station - mostly there are free seats even last minute.

One of the most misleading train station in Europe. The printed schedule was not even close to the real schedule: it seemed that the train, both direction, came and went whenever they wanted, without obeying the schedule. Customer information only opened by 10am-3.30pm, not even close to be congenial and full-of-information towards tourists, meanwhile return train to Prague itself only appeared (correct this if I am wrong) 2-3 times per day.
I suggest anyone who would like to visit CK (from Prague), you better use shuttle bus or arrange road trip from Prague, and never use this station for the sake of everything.
